LOGIN TO WINDOWS WITHOUT KNOWING PASSWORDS

Hey friend if you want to login to any computer without knowing his/her password.Then follow some easy steps here-

1) At first switch ON the computer.

2) When it asks for password press ctrl+alt+del 2 times.

3) Then it will ask both username and password.

4) Write in USERNAME-ADMINISTRATOR.
      and leave password blank.

5) Now u will logon to a administrator account i.e. default accout of windows xp.

      Now a problem arises that how can we change the password of old account.

HOW TO SPEEDUP YOUR WINDOWS XP BY DISABLING FILE INDEXING

File indexing is a Windows service that like many others, is totally useless – unless you do a lot of searching on your computer. As most users don’t, it’s a good idea to disable it to speed up actions like opening and closing files and folders on your Windows XP.

To disable the Indexing Service:

• Go to “My Computer” 
• Right click on your hard drive.
• Click properties.
• At the bottom of the window that opens, you should see a check box titled “Allow Indexing Service to index the disk for fast file searching.” Uncheck that checkbox.

HOW TO BYPASS BIOS PASSWORD

Hey friend if you set your bios password and forget.Then dont worry. . .I have a solution for it. . .

The simplest way to remove a BIOS password is to simply remove the CMOS battery. A computer will remember its settings and keep the time even when it is turned off and unplugged because these parts are powered by small battery inside the computer called a CMOS battery. If we pull out this battery, the computer will forget all of its hardware settings, including its BIOS password.

INCREASE YOUR PC SPEED

Your pc speed is slow due to the temporary files.

So if you want to speedup your PC,then delete your temporary files.

1)Goto start
2)Run
3)Type %temp%
4)Press enter
5)Delete all the files and folders.

Now your PC will run with more speed...

Check Your Computer's performance

Do you want to Monitor your Computer's performance?

Go to:

1) Run
2) Type: perfmon.msc
3) Press:Enter

And see the Performance...

BLOCK USB DRIVES

A Simple Registry TRICK TO BLOCK USB Drives (Do it with care)

1. Go to Start --> Run --> Type Regedit.
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlset\Servic es\USBStor
3. In the right pane, look for value Start and have value as 0000000(3)
4. Double click on that and change that value to 4.

You might be required to restart the PC, and then you are done with it, USB is now blocked.

In case if you want to get the USB unblocked, just change the value again to 3

FOLDER HIDING

If u want to hide any folder from your friend then follow the steps...

1) Right click on that folder, then click on properties,then customize, then change icon.


2)Select a blank icon for your folder.


Now ur folder is hidden but its name is still visible.




So to hide the name also..follow  the steps.






3)'ON'  your num lock from keyboard.


4)Select your folder and press f2 for Rename.

5)Rename the folder by pressing alt and type 0160 from num pad.

then your name will also hide.









Note-Press 0160 from num pad only,while renaming the folder.

How to Rename Start Button

If you want to rename your start button..
then do this now-

1) At first download resource hacker.

2) Then open it.

3) Click on file and open explorer.exe from C drive --> windows.

4) Click on string table..

5) Open no. 37

6) On the right panel erase the word "start" and write you want to display instead of "start".

7) Then click on compile script.

8) Click on "save as" and save it with another name like-"nis.exe"

9) Then goto start --> run--> type Regedit -->HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -->SOFTWARE -->MICROSOFT -->WINDOWS NT --> CURRENT VERSION --> WINLOGON.

10) Then on the right panel double click on shell and replace explorer.exe with your new name you have saved already. for example"nis.exe"


Now restart your computer and enjoy with your name in place of start button....


same procedure you have to do with no. 38 if it doesn't work.

How to Add a Welcome Note before computer startup

If you want to add a welcome note before computer startup....
Follow the following steps-

1)Goto Start

2)Run

3)Type Regedit and press ok.

4)open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE  (click on + sign)

5)SOFTWARE

6)Microsoft

7)Windows NT

8)CurrentVersion

9)Winlogon

10)On the right panel, double-click on LEGAL NOTICE CAPTION and LEGAL NOTICE TEXT.

11)Enter the caption and text u want to display..

12)Then restart your computer and you have done.

How to Change Password of Windows XP

If you forgot your old password and you want to change your Password-

To change password of windows xp, follow the following procedure...


1) Goto Start --> Run --> write compmgmt.msc --> press ok --> goto local users and groups-->users

2) Then on the right panel...right click the user name you want to change the password...

3) Click on set password-->proceed

4) Then Enter new password and click ok...

Now your new password will be set.

Restart your computer and use the new password.
